LICOP, Sandy; Peacefully with loving thoughts from her family at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday April 15, 2013, of Waterford in her 72nd year. Beloved wife and partner of Ray. Loving and supportive mom of Michele (and Ron VanGroenigen), and Robert. Cherished Grandma of Christine (and Bryan), Caley, Tyler, and Hillary. Dear sister of Gail Davis. Predeceased by Aunt Lena, aunt Eva, father and mother-in-law, George and Elsie Licop. A special thank-you to Dr. Paul Kursell and the nursing staff of Norfolk General Hospital. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Friday at 1:30pm. Rev. Matthew Turvey officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Norfolk General Hospital Foundation.
