Obituary of ROY WARREN BANFIELD

BANFIELD, Roy – It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Roy at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday October 6, 2017 of Waterford at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Gerry (Reaume). Loving son of Dorothy and the late Andrew Banfield. Dear brother of Ralph, Randy (and Kathy), and brother-in-law of Ronald, John (and Lois), Maureen, Marlene Reaume, Lorraine (and Dwight) Moon, Patricia (and Patrick) Hamilton. Loved son-in-law of Isabella (Bella) and the late Wilfred Reaume. Roy will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Roy has worked in the heating and plumbing trade for over 50 years. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME Waterford, Thursday October 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday October 13, 2017 at 11am. Rev. Mary Jo Patterson officiating. Masonic Service will be held Thursday at 6:30pm. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
