Ian.. Our sincere sympathies at the news of your mom's passing. Rick and I wish we had known, as we would have attended her memorial. Our mother spoke many time to Mary after she left Waterford. Many great memories of your family when you lived up the hill from us.

I last saw your Mom while out jogging past her place on College Street a number of years ago. I shouted out and Mary came to the roadside and we had a great conversation. She told of your exploits out west Ian and asked about my life experiences as well. What a "bonny wee lassie" your Mom was. She was a cherished and dear friend to our family and especially to my Mom, Betty. If heaven awaits us, our Moms will be there to greet us. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I grew up living beside Tom and Mary, she called me her "wee little Margaret", my mom would love to go over for a cup of tea with Mary. Lots of memories for sure. Ian, your mom touched a lot of people in her life, and we will all miss her.
