Don was a valued colleague and friend for over forty-five years. He was a talented and respected teacher to thousands of students, many of whom (my children included) regarded him as their very best teacher.
Don was also many other things: mathematician, inventor, advisor, consultant, and friend.
Linn, Elaine and I extend our sincerest condolences on your loss.
