Obituary of JOHN KENNETH KOHL

KOHL, John – Peacefully at Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on Thursday July 8, 2021, of Waterford at the age of 59. Beloved husband for 32 years to Marlene Thompson. Loved father of Josh (and Tammy), Tanya (and Steve), Tash (and Ansel), Lisa, Shari (and Doug), Bob (and Carrie). Proud Papa of 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Loving son of Ann Marie Kohl. Dear brother of David (and Wilma), Sandra, Brad, stepsister Shirley (and Barry), and brother-in-law of Joyce, Helen, Nancy (and Harvey), and Gary. John will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by father David Kohl, and brother-in-law Walter (and Jackie). John loved being an auto mechanic and would work on vehicles even in his spare time. Because of his love for vehicles, he started the Soap Box Derby for kids during Pumpkinfest. A Graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday July 16, 2021, at 11am.
