Aunt Mary's laughter and thoughtfulness filled every room she entered. She will be deeply missed, but the love and memories shared will forever hold a special place in my heart. The love she gave will continue to touch the lives of those she held dear. Every time I get a scratcher, it will make me think of her and smile (even if it's not a winner).

Aunt Mary possessed a unique talent for conversation and communication. My fondest memories are just random conversations over years, whether it was in person or a joke filled text message exchange. She always kept a conversation fun, engaging and on-going.
Aunt Mary was thoughtful, kind, and generous. She always had a trinket to give you whether it was item for the garden or something she got a deal on (but might not have known the purpose of) or some chocolate to share.
One of my fondest memories is the three consecutive trips to the Silver Variety Grocery in one night because we kept getting lucky on lotto scratch tickets. After the 3rd trip we were no longer lucky, which is the only reason there was no fourth trip.
I will think of Aunt Mary every time a hear a good or bad "Dad" joke. I will think of her everytime I cut up cucumbers, because I sliced them so badly at the family reunion that she gave me a look of incredulity. I will think of her everytime I stub my toe on the awful bed frame in my guest room because the only time she was an over night guest at my house, she left with a black and blue toe.
I will love and miss you forever Aunt Mary.

Aunt Mary radiated such a warm and welcoming energy and her ready smile, quick wit, and lighthearted teasing could make anyone feel loved and included. She had a great sense of humor and a kind heart. A memory that beautifully sums up her level of thoughtfulness is when I visited on my own as an adult and she offered to remove the crust from the peanut butter sandwich she was making for me and asked me if I preferred it cut into squares or triangles. I was so surprised that I wasn’t even sure how to answer.
I don’t often get scratch tickets, but I’ve never scratched one without thinking of her because “you never know, sometimes you get lucky and win a little something”. I will always remember our travels through France together and most especially the little impromptu dance party with my former host family after dinner one evening.
She is dearly loved and missed.

Condolences to Mary’s family. We are so sad to hear of Mary’s passing. She was a devoted care giver to our son from 7 months to 4 years old. The crafts they did together are put on our Christmas tree every year. I loved visiting with Mary.

We became friends with the Fergusons over 30 years ago, when our sons played soccer together.
I will miss Mary’s infectious laugh, her melt-in-the mouth shortbread cookies and regular jokes, among many other aspects of this wonderful lady.
Condolences to Eric, Chris, Paul, Stephan and families.

Mary & I kept in contact by mail and phone over the years. Living far apart most of the time. I don't know if she ever got angry, but I never heard of it. Along with everyone else, we will miss her.
