Obituary of BONNIE ELLA VIRAG

VIRAG, Bonnie Ella (nee: Mudford) - Bonnie passed away at age 88, with her loving husband by her side in The Villages, Florida on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Formerly of Norfolk County she was the beloved wife of Tony Virag. She was also the loving mother of Mark and Brad. Cherished grandmother of Paul, Jack, and Jacob. She was recently blessed with her great grandson in June, Laszlo. Bonnie is also survived by her twin sister Betty and many others who still reside in Canada. Her great legacy is her book The Stovepipe. It was about her journey as a young girl as a foster child. She was faced with many challenges with her sisters and brother that created a powerful story of faith and courage. The book touched the lives as many who read it and speaks to the remarkable ability of the human spirit. Friends and family will be received at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home in Waterford this Friday August 2, 2024. Viewing begins at 10:00 am and the service with be at 11:00 am. Pastor Steve Woods will be officiating. Interment will be at Waterford Greenwood Cemetery.
