Our hearts go out to Mary-Ellen's family, we are saddened to hear of her passing.
We have fond memories of Mary-Ellen coming to The Windham House with her loved pet Sohpie, always enjoyed our chats and her humor, of course we loved Sophie to bits!
Funny story:
When we were finished grooming Sophie, we'd call to say Sophie was ready to go home.
Often the phone was answered by her daughter.
For some strange reason we presumed Mary-Ellen had one daughter, we'd wondered why the daughter's voice would sound different, we'd ask, "is this Mary-Ellen's daughter?" , the response was always "yes?".
Little did we know Mary-Ellen had 3 daughters until it came up in conversation chatting with Mary-Ellen.
It all made sense once we found this out, we all had a chuckle.
Gone to soon, she will be greatly missed
RIP Mary-Ellen, in our thoughts and in our hearts
