Obituary of MARY-ELLEN NIXON

NIXON, Mary-Ellen (nee: Boyd) – After a brief battle with cancer, Mary-Ellen passed away peacefully into the arms of her Saviour surrounded by her family on Sunday September 8, 2024, of Waterford at the age of 65.  Beloved wife of the late Roy Nixon.  Loving mother of Elaine (and Jason) Mandeville, Elizabeth (and Cameron) McKenzie, and Emily-Anne Nixon.  Proud Gramma of Caitlyn, Logan, James, and Cassidy.  Devoted sister and sister-in-law of Angus, Jim, Janice McLaren, Linda Boyd, and Theresa Jamieson.  Mary-Ellen also leaves behind her fur baby Sophie, and will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Predeceased by brothers Tom, and Stewart.  A celebration of life service will be held at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford on Saturday September 14, 2024, at 2pm.  Rev.
