Obituary of MERILYN FLETCHER

FLETCHER, Merilyn – Peacefully with her son by her side, at Delhi Long Term Care Centre, on Friday September 20, 2024, formerly of Waterford, in her 88^th year.  Loving mom of Ward (and Sandra), and Wendy.  Proud Nana of Natasha (and Michael), and Neil.  Dear sister of Don Ward.  Predeceased by parents Harold and Bernice Ward, and sister Jean Jacobson.  Merilyn was inducted into Norfolk County Sports Hall of Fame and will be fondly remembered coaching the women’s softball team Mott’s Canadettes, and continuing her love for baseball by announcing the baseball games in Waterford.  Merilyn loved Christmas and spending time with family and friends during the holiday season.  A private family graveside service will be held.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in memory of Merilyn to Purrfect Companions Animal Rescue.
