Sending big hugs to our whole family, from Gatineau. We loved Great Grandpa, I loved his laughter and his sense of humour. I'm grateful he could meet his great great grandchildren (wow)! I am very lucky that I got to visit him, especially when moving to Canada in 2012. I loved the updates on wildlife he spotted outside his window, his calmness and warmth. I know that he was a great person, and will forever remain an inspiration. Together, with Great Grandma they created solid ground that is felt generations later. Thank you to my family for taking such good care of him later on, and being there for him (night and day). We love you Great Grandpa!

Dear Fern and family-I have so many fond memories of Ross, especially while moose hunting in Chapleau and fishing at Long Point. He was honest, dependable and warm. Ross was a true friend to my father and a role model to myself. Please accept my sincere condolences and take comfort in knowing that he has gone to a better place. Carl Bowyer
