Ellen and Family, Please accept my sincerest sympathies. I have many fond memories of the year or so that I lived with you when Robert was born; both you and Ken were more than employers, you became friends. You have remained a friend over the years. I remember the time Ken let me watch a spay - I thought that was going to be pretty exciting; I almost passed out! I never thought it would bother me; Ken just let me sit down!! My best memories of course are of Robert and how you used to let us 'borrow' him for sleep-overs! My parents, especially my mom, were very fond of you and your children. I probably have more baby pictures of Robert than you do!!! as well as a few of John and Jennifer. I've appreciated keeping in touch over the years even though it has mostly been by Christmas card and letter. It was hard to believe it when Jane started writing them... I kept picturing her as a 4-year old. What do I remember most about Ken? You stopping him at the door after he'd been at the barn telling him to remove his shoes! Ken and bridge... once a week when I was there I believe. His laugh when something struck him as funny. Ken's love for you and his children. His commitment to his community, even when it became more difficult for him to get around. I saw Ken once at an OPSBA meeting a couple of years ago, the first time I'd seen him in years. He was the same person he'd always been. I wish you God's peace and comfort at this time as you lay Ken's body to rest. I'll be thinking and praying for you and your family. With love and sadness, Carol

My deepest condolences to the family at this time of loss. I will remember Ken (or Mr Moore as I always knew him) as a good friend of our family who had an excellent knowledge of the animal world. He always wanted to know how things were on the family farm, especially when we got into sheep later on. His memories, along with the family will be in my thoughts and prayers this week.
