Dear Steve, Brad and family was with mixed feelings that I read about the death of your father. Sympathy for you but joy for Norm. I'm sure that along with your mother and your brother that Father Mike was at Heaven's gate to greet him. I remember many a meeting formal and informal around the kitchen table at St. Bernard's. Your father was a man of great faith and in every sense of the word a gentleman He had his opinions and his positive approach won the hearts of many. There are certain people who touch our lives in a deep, profound and lasting manner Norm is definitely one of those people in my life. I have been away from Waterford for nearly 19 years, yet the remembrance of Norm brings a tear to my eye and a smile to my heart. At the present time I am the Pastoral Minister for the Catholic Cemeteries of Windsor/Essex. Each month I arrange to have a Memorial Mass offered here at Heavenly Rest for the deceased the Mass is tonight and I will have Norm remembered at this celebration. Please be assured of my thoughts and prayers! Peace and Blessing Sister Barb

Dear Steve,Christine and Michael, We are so sorry that our schedules do not allow us to make the trip to visit you at this time and express our condolences in person. Please know that we are thinking about you and keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. The years have travelled by all too quickly, but many of us will always have the cherished memories of Uncle Norm and Bernice's generosity of hosting many family picnics at your home. The family baseball games(by "the creek"),the twinkle in Uncle Norm's eyes whenever the Carroll brothers were together, the antics and the jokes are fond childhood memories that we have been so fortunate to share. Our love to everyone, Patricia, Jim and family

Steve, Chris and Mike -- Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your dad's passing. Uncle Norm and Aunt Bernie are, and will always be such a large part of my early memories of the Carroll clan. The summer picnics and creek skating gatherings in winter at the farm are among my most cherished recollections. The crazy skits of the "three Stooges," led by Uncle Norm will be forever replayed with fondness in my mind's eye. We, the Carroll cousins, are most fortunate to have been blessed with such a great character as your dad, our Uncle Norm, in our upbringing. Sincerely, with love and affection, Roger and Family
