CARROLL, Norman Joseph; Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at his residence, Round Plains, on Monday January 7, 2008 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Bernice (Allen). Dearest friend of Elaine Harrington. Loving father, grandfather, and Poppa of Steve and Val, their children Renee (and David), Rebecca (and Tim), Leanne (and Ryan); Christine Carroll; Mike and Dawn, their children Brad, and Lindsay (and Trevor); daughter-in-law Pat (and late son Peter), their children Lerryn (and Dave), Heather. �Poppa Joe� of Stephen, Sean; Haiden, Mikayla; Rhya; Irelyn, and Anden. Dear brother of Albert (and Muriel), Henry (and Lenora), Gloriete, Lillian. Norm will be sadly missed by many family members and friends. Predeceased by sisters Dora and Lauretta, brothers Roger and Leo. Norm was an employee for 37 years of Cockshutt Farm Equipment and White Farm Equipment, served on the Catholic School Board, Canadian Order of Foresters and Scout Leader, Chartered Member of Knights of Columbus, Simcoe and a member of St. Bernard's Parish, Waterford. Friends and family may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of a Christian Burial on Friday at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish at 11 a.m. Fr. Jim Dunne officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Parish Prayers Thursday at 6:30 p.m., Knights of Columbus Service to follow.
