Oh so many memories. All the times helping in the kitchen at the Legion , all the trips to dart tournaments with the kids. The trips to London to pick up dart supplies and stopping for supper where Shirley would always order liver and onions . Shirley was truly one of the best volunteers at the Legion and for the Auxiliary . She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.

What is there to say when yet another person I've known (and my parents) loved leaves us! They adored working in the Legion Kitchen together....they loved socializing together...they were GREAT FRIENDS! Whatever you need whenever you need it! That was their way! It now becomes ours!!

What fond memories we will always hold Shirley. Where do we begin! The old Legion and all the times from when Caroline and I had our babies in their little seats on the counter or in a playpen as we prepared meals for the Lions on Tuesdays or other banquets... . Drinking at your pool comes to mind, and I think the occasional swim LOL.... Auxiliary conventions were incredible - the old gang with Mildred Plyley.... Oh, we had fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will always have the memories Shirley. You have fought your battle and have now gone to be with Bob... Branch 123 will never be the same without you Shirley but go rest now!!!! We are sorry that we cannot be present to pay our respects to the family but we are 3,000 miles away but know that our thoughts and love are with your family. Carol & Wayne Walker

I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to the entire family. I have very fond memories from my childhood of Aunt Shirley. Whether it be playing in pool, or playing with all of her little dolls, having tea with mom and Aunt Shirley or even getting into trouble for petting Sholtz's tail. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Maureen Biancone (Cochrane)

Rob, Tammy and family. I would like to extend our sincere sympathies on behalf of Ron, Bryanne, Laney and myself in the loss of your mom, who was really everyone's mom! She always had time to stop and say hello and ask about all of us. Even at the ages that we all are at now she never gave a thought to putting us kids in our place hahaha. She will be missed. I know what a loss losing a mother can be and the huge and empty hole it can leave. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
