HALYK, Alex; Peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Thursday June 23, 2011, of Waterford in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Sophie (Rygus). Loving father of Debra and John Featherstone, Harry and Joan, and the late Sharon Larabie. Proud Gigi of Michael, Noel, Rebecca Featherstone, Meghan (and Andre) Sousa, and great grandchildren Julian and Tyler. Dear brother of Rose Swidrovich, Ed (and Dorothy), Lawrence (and Olga), Sid (and Sonya), Ken (and Lucy), Andy (and Jean), Sam, Walter (and Sandy), Myris Carpenter (and Glenn). Predeceased by brothers Bill, Peter, Irvin, and Johny. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Alex was employed at Trail Mobile, Brantford for many years. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Sunday 1-4 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Monday at 11 am. Rev. Andrew Bunner officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
