Obituary of John Hare

HARE, Dr. John Gordon; Died peacefully and gracefully at his home at Kingsland Farm, Waterford, Sunday July 10, 2011 in his 80th year. Dearest husband of Justine (Sedivak). Loving father of Wendy, Clifford (and Laura), Marilyn (and Paul), Donald (and Debbie), Philip (and Tracy), Douglas (and Shannon), George, Susan (and Jay), John, and Robert. Grandfather of Emma, Nathan, Jackson, Cameron, Max, Jamie, Joey and Ginger. Predeceased by parents Clifford and Marjorie Hare, and sister Nancy Palmer. Dr. Hare graduated from Ontario Veterinary Collage of Guelph in 1956 and was pleased to attend his 55th reunion this summer. Dr. Hare was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a die hard fan of the New York Rangers for over 65 years. John fulfilled his life long dream of building a Log Cabin in the Near North on Boundary Lake. Friends may call the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 1:30pm. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Juravinski Cancer Center.
