On behalf of the Senior Officers, Staff and Membership of Ontario Command, I first wish to extend to the entire Biggs' Family, our sincere condolences, on your loss of a dear Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother and Brother-in-Law.
From a personal perspective, as a Past District B Commander, I can attest to Don's dedication to the Royal Canadian Legion. An exemplary Legionnaire, he set the bar high, and expected no less of any of us.
We know Don was never one to back down from a challenge. Most often he made our meetings interesting, sometimes just longer. The vision of him standing at the mike, eyes peering over his glasses, manual in hand, hand in the air, a booming voice putting forward his argument, will be in my memory, forever, and at every convention. We will miss him, and we will Remember Him. God Bless.

Sam and I offer our deep condolences to the Biggs family. Don was always a very dedicated Legion member and certainly kept us on our toes at meetings and conventions. He always had a way of getting his point across and I will miss him for his commitment to the Legion and our Veterans.
'We will remember them'

Frances and I offer our sincere condolences to Don's family, comrades and friends.
I first met Don and Rhea when they were hosting us at the Branch when I was 1st VP of Ontario Command and then again as President. We remember both of them as being very welcoming and gracious hosts.
There is no question that Don and I had, at times, different points of view, however, when work was done, we got together for a few jabs and laughs, especially at Conventions.
He was an appreciated Veteran and a most dedicated Legionnaire and he will be missed.
We will remember him.
